Mimulus aurantiacus

This is a sketch of a sticky monkeyflower (Mimulus aurantiacus), a native we planted in the yard a couple of years ago. I need to work on backgrounds. I plan on starting a still life featuring this flower (and maybe some lupine? grasses?) within the next few days.

The writing goals I set a couple of days ago were met, and will be my writing goals again today. Take care, everyone.
